Lush: The Kiss Lip Scrub | Review

If there's one thing I've learned from living in Wellington it's that this environment does no favours for my skin, particularly my lips. When my mum was leaving to go back to Australia, she very kindly offered to buy me something from Lush. I decided upon 'The Kiss' Lip Scrub. I'd never used a lip scrub before and felt that it was exactly what my lips needed in windy Wellington.

'The Kiss' is made up of little pink crystals with tiny edible hearts. It is a mix of caster sugar, sea salt, cocoa butter and mandarin and almond oil. It is extremely sweet. The salt makes the sugar even more intense. The dominating taste and smell is definitely mandarin.

To use, simply scrub it across your lips and then lick it off. I have been using it in the mornings just after I wake up or in the evenings if I feel that my lips need a little extra TLC. This product is quite long lasting and I've found that one use will leave my lips soft and smooth for at least two days. It's a really simple way to give the condition of your lips a boost!

'The Kiss' is a limited edition Valentine's Day product, so make sure you get your hands on it quick! It is available at Lush for $11.50 (NZD).

  1. Between this scrub and the Santa scrub my lips have never been in better condition. I don't think you can beat a Lush scrub! x

  3. LUSH Lip Scrubs are always good enough to eat! I love Mint Julips, Bubblegum and Popcorn. I'll have to check if my local LUSH still has this one in stock :)
